Sanctuary Windows...Over the years, the Sanctuary of First Glendale has been enhanced by the addition of 21 inspiring, faceted, stained glass windows. The installation began in 1969 and was completed in the 1980's. The windows were given in memory or honor of our members.The windows along the north wall of the Sanctuary are the teachings of Jesus and the windows on the south wall the experiences of Jesus. The other windows found throughout the Sanctuary represent the symbols of our faith. A guide is available that describes the entire collection of windows. Below are a few of the windows. We hope your spiritual journey will be enriched by these and we invite you to worship with us and see the other windows placed in our Sanctuary. Click on any image to see a larger picture.
