Reaching Out to Others...
Changing lives by serving others... Here are some of the ways we serve others at
First Glendale.
Brad Riner Fund
The Brad Riner Fund was
begun as a memorial to one of the church's teens following his tragic
death. "Brad Bags" filled with a single serving of food and a drink provide the
people of First Glendale a way to serve the needy of our community. The fund
also provides utility assistance and makes referrals
to other social service agencies. Thousands of lives are touched each year
by this ongoing ministry of the church.

Sister Church in Fiji
On the front of a church on
the island of Fiji, 6,000 miles from Glendale, you will find a cross made by a
member of First Glendale. Since 1993 this church has been our "sister church"
and over the years the church has sent work teams, hymnals, supplies, and built
long lasting relationships with the people of Fiji.
We Are A Global Church
As United Methodists we join hands with people and churches around the world to serve
others in Christ's name. This means when a Florida Community is ravaged by a
tornado, you are there. When a devastating hurricane strikes New Orleans,
you are there. When a young person in Africa needs a college education,
you are there. When a Tsunami sweeps entire villages away on the pacific
rim, you are there.
