We offer many
opportunities to learn, to grow in your faith and make lasting friendships with
people who have made First Glendale their church home. We invite you to find a
group that interests you, jump in and become a part of our church family.
Sunday Morning Adult Classes
The Koinonia and Wayseekers Class 11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
The Koinonia / Wayseekers is a lively study and
discussion class open to adults of every age. Newcomers are always welcome! A
good place to begin your journey at First Glendale.
The Friendship Class
11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
The Friendship Class
is a Bible Study and discussion class for senior
adults. In addition to Sunday mornings, the class gets together for potlucks and
social outings.

Member Classes:
Whether you are interested in making First Glendale your church home, or
you would like to know more about who we are and what we believe, we invite to
come to a new member orientation class. Watch the bulletin and newsletter for
dates or check: "Wish to Join" on the registration slip and you will
be contacted..
Midweek Study Opportunities
Wednesday Soup and Sandwich Wed. at 5:30 p.m. in
Fellowship Hall
This is a great opportunity to meet people over a
sandwich or bowl of soup and then participate in a variety of studies. Those who
wish to sing in the choir may leave for Choir Practice at 7:00 p.m.
Experiencing God Bible Study Groups
This ongoing study meets on Sundays at 1:00
and 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
 United Methodist Men (UMM)
Our men's group meets
Every
4th Sunday at 7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a breakfast and program.
Men's Covenant Group
The Men's Covenant Group is an opportunity to gather with other men and
discuss what it means to be a Christian in today's world. The group meets every
other Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in a local coffee shop.

UMW
Unit Meeting is the 1st Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in
Fellowship Hall
UMW Circles meet at various times and places during the
month. Call the church office for a schedule of times and places.
Saturday Morning
- Rosie's Road Crew
One of the best ways
to get acquainted with our campus (and meet some great people) is to join the
Saturday Morning Grounds Crew. They begin at 6:30 a.m. and rake, weed,
clean and do whatever needs to be done to get our campus ready for Sunday! (They
usually work for two hours)
